You are to Make an Altar for Burning Incense

You are to make an altar for burning incense. Make it of acacia wood. Its length, a forearm; its width, a forearm. It will be square. And its height, two forearms; its horns being from it. Overlay it with pure gold: its roof, its surrounding walls and its horns. Make it an encircling band of gold. And make two gold rings from it, beneath its band, on its two ribs. Make it on its two sides, that they be as housings for the poles, to lift it on them. Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. Put it before the veil which is over the ark of the testimony, in front of the covering which is above the testimony, there, where I will be met by you. In the morning, Aaron is to burn incense of spice on it. He is to burn it in the morning when he tends the lamps. When Aaron raises the lamps at twilight, he is to burn it, a perpetual incense before the Eternal, throughout your generations. Do not raise a strange incense on it, an ascension-offering or an oblation, and do not pour a libation over it. Aaron will atone on its horns once a year. He will atone for it once a year with the blood of the sin-offering of atonements, throughout your generations. It is the holiest of holies for the Eternal. - Exodus 30:1-10

A Fire-Offering

And this is what you are to prepare on the altar: two one-year-old lambs per day, continually. Prepare the first lamb in the morning, and prepare the second lamb at twilight. And for the first lamb: a tenth of flour mixed in a quarter gallon of beaten oil and a libation of a quarter gallon of wine. And prepare the second lamb at twilight. Prepare it like the morning oblation and like its libation, as a pleasing aroma, a fire-offering to the Eternal, a continual ascension-offering before the Eternal, throughout your generations, by the entrance of the tent of meeting, there, where I will be met by you to speak with you there. I will be met there by the children of Israel. It is to be sanctified in my honor. I will sanctify the tent of meeting and the altar, and I will sanctify Aaron and his sons to be priests for me. I will be present among the children of Israel and will be there God. They will know that I am the Eternal their God who brought them out from the land of Egypt to be present among them. I am the Eternal their God. - Exodus 29:38-46

Consecrate Their Hands for Seven Days

And the holy garments which are for Aaron will be for his sons after him to be anointed in them and to consecrate their hands in them. The priest succeeding him from among his sons who will come into the tent of meeting to officiate in the sanctuary is to wear them for seven days. Then, you are to take the consecrated ram and cook its meat in a holy place. Aaron and his sons will eat the meat of the ram and the bread which is in the basket by the entrance of the tent of meeting. They will eat that which has atoned for them to consecrate their hands, to sanctify them, but the stranger may not eat, for they are holy. Yet, if if any of the meat of the consecration or from the bread remains until the morning, burn the remains in fire. Do not eat, for it is holy. You are to do for Aaron and for his sons all that I have commanded you. Consecrate their hands for seven days. Then, prepare a bull, a sin-offering per day, with the atonements. Expiate for the altar with your atonement on it, and anoint it to sanctify it. Atone for the altar for seven daysand sanctify it. The altar is to be the holiest of holies. All that touches the altar will be holy. - Exodus 29:29-37

A Raised-Offering

You are to take the breast from the consecrated ram which is for Aaron and wave it as a wave-offering before the Eternal. It will be your portion. You are to sanctify the breast of the wave-offering which is to be waved and the shank of the raised-offering which is to be raised, from the consecrated ram - from that of Aaron's and from that of his sons. It is to be for Aaron and for his sons as an everlasting portion from the children of Israel, for it is a raised-offering. Hence, it will be a raised-offering from the children of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace-offerings, their raised-offering for the Eternal.
